Is your software compatible with Xero and other accounting platforms?
Right now, we work exclusively with Xero. Our team has tried most of the major accounting platforms around the world, and we think Xero is the best fit for schools.
Do we need to purchase a license for your software?
Nope! All the software we build is either used exclusively by our accountants or shared with schools at no extra cost, so you get access to the tools you need for free.
Can we switch from our current accounting firm to Kura Accounting mid-year?
Absolutely! Getting started is quick, and we’re happy to come in person to walk you through the process. Switching is easier than you might think.
Do you only work with schools in New Zealand?
Yes. From day one, our goal has been to use our skills to help put NZ at the forefront of global education.
How come you charge significantly less than other accountants?
Here’s an easy way to think about it: imagine taking your car to a mechanic. Shop A checks everything manually—brakes, engine, etc.—which takes hours. Shop B uses a diagnostic tool that finds any issues in seconds. That’s us! Our software lets us do accounting much faster and more efficiently, and we pass those savings straight on to schools.
